Jeffrey White
Jeffrey White has a bachelor of science degree from Rutgers University, a masters of science degree in entomology from the University of Florida and spent a few additional years of study at Rutgers university on several different entomological topics. For the past 15 years he has spent the majority of his professional time studying the management of bed bugs and other pests in both residential and commercial properties and become an expert on the topic of bed bug service. Using his expertise on the topic of bed bugs, White served as the driving force behind the development of various products that include the SenSci BlackOut Bed Bug Detector, SenSci Volcano Bed Bug Monitor, SenSci Activ Bed Bug Lure and SenSci Pyramid Pitfall Trap. In 2015, White was voted one of twenty-one of the National Pest Management Association’s “Next Generation of Leaders in the Pest Management Industry”.
White has presented to forums that include the National Pest Management Association, state pest management associations, the Entomological Society of America, the International Hotel and Motel Show, as well as presented to hundreds of other groups both within the US and internationally. He’s been featured as a bed bug expert on ABC’s The View, NBC’s Nightly News with Brian Williams, NBC’s Today’s Show, ABC’s World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer, Animal Planets Infested, Dr. Oz and Dateline, among many others.
White is also driven in his life to give back to the community and subsequently developed BedBug TV in 2008, an online weekly video podcast that has been viewed by close to six-million people across the world. BedBug TV educates the public and pest control industry on different topics associated with the treatment and products of bed bugs and answers questions relating to those topics.
White recently launched White Mantis Consultants LLC and plans to specialize in developing pest control training programs for pest control companies and other affected industries, consulting on problematic bed bug and general pest infestations and public speaking on all pest control topics.
